Refunds on MyEventLane
MyEventLane connects event organisers with people who want to attend. Refund decisions are made by the event organiser, based on their event policy and the circumstances of each request.
MyEventLane’s role
We provide the tools for ticketing, payments, and refund processing. We do not automatically refund every ticket — that depends on the organiser’s policy and whether a refund is approved.
When a refund is approved:
- It is usually returned to the original payment method
- Timing can vary depending on your bank or card provider
- You will receive confirmation when the refund is processed
Ticket refund process
- Open your booking from your confirmation email or MyEventLane account.
- Check the organiser’s refund policy on the event page.
- Submit a refund request through the appropriate channel shown on your booking.
- If approved, the refund is processed back to your original payment method.
If an event is cancelled or significantly changed, the organiser should communicate next steps. Contact them first; use platform support if you cannot reach them.
RSVP (free) events
RSVP events do not involve a ticket payment through MyEventLane. If you can no longer attend, update or cancel your RSVP if the event allows it, or contact the organiser directly.
What we cannot promise
We cannot guarantee that every refund request will be approved. That is the organiser’s decision. MyEventLane does not provide legal advice about consumer rights.
